Welcome to Sapori Ristorante Italiano, celebrating its grand opening in the Greenville Center on Kennett Pike in Greenville, Delaware.

Owner Antonio Lubrano and his family have created a restaurant that promises to treat guests to the authentic flavors of Italy, rather than offer an Americanized version of Italian food. He takes great pride in offering his fine Italian cuisine at prices that won’t break your budget.

Lubrano has put his 30 years of experience in the restaurant field to good use in planning his  newest enterprise. In the elegantly-appointed dining room, intimate atmosphere “has a nice Tuscan feel, with warm colors and rich textures,” Lubrano says.

His team includes Bar Manager Charlsie Hurley, who recommends the Sapori Martini List, especially the Tiramisu or Expresso martini.

General Manager Tom Rae has assembled a comprehensive wine list “well representative of the diverse regions and grapes of Italy,” Rae says. “I think it goes particularly well with our cuisine.”

Executive Chef James Kazongo prepares a variety of authentic Central and Southern Italian dishes, especially appetizing “because everything is freshly made, using only the finest ingredients,” Kazongo says.

Sapori offers various antipasti, such as Bresaola, Insalata di Baccala and Fruitti di Mare; gourmet entrees include fresh pastas, risotti, filet mignon, veal chop and seafood; and speciality Italian deserts, including made-on-premises Tiramisu.
